This design is the reproduction of a Fresco present in the Nova Chapel in Orvieto, Italy. The Nova Chapel, or Chapel of San Brizio, located in the right transept of the Cathedral of Orvieto, was built between 1408 and 1444. The chapel is famous for its cycle of frescoes depicting the Last Judgment, started by Beato Angelico in 1447 and completed later by Luca Signorelli in 1499-1502. In the second lunette of the east wall you can admire the fresco of the Blessed in Paradise. In the lower half of the fresco the characters express a calm serenity as chronicled by theology, while, in the upper half, you can see nine musician angels. The Angels in Paradise is the representation of the two angels, central to the fresco, who are portrayed scattering roses and camellias on the blessed, although the flowers, painted dry, are today poorly visible.
